Support that meets you both where you are.
Marriage Counseling and Couples Therapy
Most couples do not come in because they stopped loving each other. They come in because something got stuck.
Maybe it is one argument you have had four hundred times in different costumes. Maybe you are efficient roommates now and you both know it. Maybe something happened, a betrayal or a loss, and you have not found your way back. Maybe one of you has been asking to do this for a long time and the other finally said yes.
I work with what is happening underneath the fight. Not communication tips, not taking turns with a talking stick. We find the pattern the two of you are caught in, where each of you learned it, and what it would take to do something different.
I also work with a lot of men individually, which means I am used to the partner who did not want to come. I am not going to gang up on him.

How I Work
The Pattern, Not the Argument
You are not fighting about the dishes. Every couple has a loop: one pushes, one goes quiet, both end up alone. We name yours and interrupt it.
Both of You Get Heard
I am not here to referee or decide who is right. You will both get the floor, and you will both get pushed. Nobody gets to be only the victim in the room.
Where It Started
Each of you brought a whole history in with you. What you saw, what you learned to expect, what you do when you feel unsafe. That history is usually in the room during the fight.
Repair After Damage
Affairs, dishonesty, betrayals of trust. Some couples make it through these and some do not. If you want to try, it is real work and it takes time, and I will be honest with you about how it is going.
Longer Sessions Work Better
Fifty minutes is often not enough for two people. I recommend 80-minute sessions for couples, especially early on, when there is a lot to get on the table
Who Is This For?
I work with couples navigating:
The same recurring conflict
Emotional distance and disconnection
Sex and intimacy
Parenting stress and life transitions
Communication that turns into fighting
Deciding whether to stay together
I work with married, unmarried, and LGBTQ couples
Therapy is a space where we can untangle what’s been holding you back and support you in creating meaningful change.
